He has a strong background in the aerospace and defense industries, having held leadership positions at companies like Bombardier and CAE. David Anderson

General Anderson retired as a Brigadier-General after serving in the CAF from 1980 to 2020, 8 years as a reservist and 32 in Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. After retiring, he became the Senior Advisor Digital Transformation to the CAF. He now consults independently.

Kimberly Van Vliet

Kimberley is the founder of WaVv. She created CONVERGX®, a global congress facilitating significant industry collaborations with nearly $2 billion in deals tracked. She also holds leadership roles within NATO and serves as Director of the Aerospace Innovation Hub in Calgary.

Michael Tschiersch

Michael, a former submarine officer, has over 30 years of experience in customer support, configuration management, and integrated product logistics across military and industrial sectors. He specializes in optimizing product lifecycles, from initial design to ongoing support operations.

Samaneh Ashoori

With a Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and over 15 years of experience, she specializes in clean technology and sustainable energy. Samaneh blends academic rigor with practical project and product management.

Stefan Flückiger

Stefan is a former senior Swiss diplomat who retired in 2023 as Deputy State Secretary for International Finance. He coordinated Switzerland’s strategy for sustainable and digital finance, stays engaged in development and conflict issues including landmine detection, finance and global affairs.

Omar Saleh

Omar leads aerospace initiatives at Innovate Calgary, emphasizing technology commercialization and workforce development. He previously served as CCO at Qdot Technology, shaping clean aviation strategies. He consulted for UNICEF in the MENA region, and holds an MBA and BASc in Chemical Engineering.

Gorka Albizu

Jorge is an environmental scientist and water management specialist with over 20 years of experience in conflict zones, including Sudan, Uganda, and Yemen. He has led WASH initiatives worldwide, integrating climate resilience into water and sanitation systems. He emphasizes community-driven solutions to enhance water security and sustainability.

Trish Josephs

Trish founded a boutique consulting firm, excelling in wealth creation and corporate growth across healthcare, energy, agriscience, construction, and IT. She drives growth, fosters ESG-focused collaborations. Known for catalyzing global innovation trends, Trish builds strategic partnerships with government, academia, and First Nation communities.

Serhii specializes in humanitarian demining, infrastructure recovery & international cooperation. Representing Ukrainian Demining Services (UDS), he engages with donors, governments, and private partners to implement AI-driven solutions for safer demining.
